A Sweet Holiday Tradition

We don’t eat a lot of sugar, but for holidays I make an exception. Every holiday I encourage my daughter to make one desert, or pastry from scratch, by herself. It’s kind of her contribution to the festivities. Yesterday she choose to make cinnamon rolls. She loves cinnamon rolls, and she has been helping me make them many times, but never baked them all by herself before. She was very happy with the result.

I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July! See you tomorrow at our coffee date 😉

Love,

Ms Zen

  1. I love that you gave your daughter so many lessons wrapped in one experience: the decision making , the process of making from scratch , being considered responsible enough and trusted enough to make it all by herself, and of course the fun of enjoying the final outcome .
